Nancy (Fran) appeared for her first time with the Intentional Theatre in "State of the Art".

The only cast member who claimed to have actually graduated from something resembling a college or other higher education institution with a connection to theater (the Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre in Arizona, which apparently isn't a real college), she's been making the rounds of local community theater groups lately.

You may have seen her a ditzy Jan in "Cahoots" at the Chester Meetinghouse, a drunk Vivian in "Love, Sex and the IRS" with the Podium Players, and a catnip smoking Marlene in "Daddy's Dyin', Who's Got the Will" at New Britain Rep.

After her time on our stage, her signature line - "Well, where were we?" - became more believable with every utterance.

Nancy was as multi-faceted as she was multi-talented.  Singer, dancer, director, hit-person... she was a quintuple threat.  I do not use the term threat loosely.

Giving the photographer the evil eye.  Poor photographer guy.  Pity him. Teaching the men how to boogie.  Or how to play a bad lie.  Hard to tell, it's all so fuzzy now. Re-blocking a scene while the director was indisposed.  What initiative. Pity him. A little Gilbert and Sullivan makes break time seem to fly on by.
