"That Light Through That Window", by Beth Danesco of Foxboro Mass., takes us inside 70-something Ginny's last minutes in the house where she’s lived for fifty-six years, bringing her bittersweet memories, last minute doubts, and a chance to scrutinize her son Douglas’ new girlfriend, Anna, whom she is meeting for the first time. Along
the way, some moments are shared that might best be left in the box - such
as the
cocoanut head with orange hair
from the church bazaar. |

| About the Actors
Jean De Grooth has been active in community and professional theater since sometime in the 1900's although she demures to reveal the exact year. She was seen most recently as Louise in Always, Patsy Cline. This was Jean's first appearance with the Intentional Theatre. Linda MacCluggage is the former artistic director of Play With Your Food lunchtime theater in New London. Linda received her BFA from Connecticut College, and was trained at the O'Neill Center's National Theater Institute. Todd Little holds a BFA from the University of Illinois, and
spent 17 years at Goodspeed Musicals. A member of the improv group Comedy
on Demand, Todd was recently seen as Marc in The Intentional Theatre
production of ‘ART’. |

About the Playwright Beth Danesco is a New England native. Her scripts for film and television have placed in the finals of various competitions including Find The Funny, PAGE International, and ABC/Disney. She currently works as a writer and editor for nzone, an online entertainment magazine, and as a screenwriting consultant through All Stories Critique Services, which she founded in 2005. That Light Through That Window is Beth's first short stage play. It makes its "world premiere" at The Intentional Theatre Short Play Festival. |
