"The Secret", by Lyn Halper of Scarsdale New York, asks the question "Truth or Dare" of two friends Jane and Louise, on their commute home from work. "What, are we seventeen year-old?" asks Jane, but Louise persists until Jane reveals her secret. When it's Louise's turn, she needs a little coaxing from Jane, but what she divulges could rip their friendship apart. For
those familiar with the game, neither Truth nor Dare offers an easy path,
and a Dare can easily get you into embarrassing trouble. But Truth
is a slippery animal, sometimes impossible to grasp and hold tightly. |
