William T. Hine (Bum)

We're not saying William is a bum.  That was the part he played in the show - a park bum.  He was on stage at curtain-up, and never left until the last encore. The bum.   ~   William has been a member of The Intentional Theatre since the beginning, and has near-perfect attendance.  He's only missed one or two gatherings to perform in other productions, notably with The Second Step Players in their two most recent annual productions at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford. We forgive him for those lapses!   ~   William was first bitten by the acting bug when he played an Indian in The First Thanksgiving.  He survived the initial attack, and went on to appear in numerous productions over the next 36 years, including as a bishop in Mame, as well as a farmer in Oklahoma (or was it a cowboy?).  ~ He has since cleaned up his act - "shave and a haircut, two bits."  :)
